It’s three years to the day since Life is Strange Episode One was released.

Thank you so much to everyone in our fan base and at DONTNOD, Deck Nine Games and Square Enix for these past three years of #LifeisStrange. They’ve been amazing. 🎂

3 years ago, the game I put my soul in it was released.
was a fucking awesome ride, hard, though, with joy and sadness, moments of doubts, uncertainty, joy, euphoria even.
that was a loooot of emotions but in the end I think we succeded to bring you a “good game” and I’m just fucking pride to be part of this game!

jeez time flies for sure!

thanks you so much for supporting life is strange 3 years ago and for supporting it now too.
we have the best fans ever!

Webseries : DONTNOD Presents Vampyr Episode 1 - Making Monsters

Some times ago I had the amazing opportunity to be invited to draw my own version of ELRIC OF MELNIBONE for the volume 3 of the french Comic book (for my friend Julien Blondel and Jean luc Cano) by GLENAT.
a huge thanks to them for their trust and this unique opportunit they gave me.
Always loved this character so be able to add my little stone on it was a real big honor for me.

Done with Zbrush and photoshop
Zbrush for the placement, camera researches, basic lightning in keyshot and photoshop for all the rest.

Helloo! C: Before starting, I'm just gonna say I found you from LIS, and then went on your website, and I think your work is just absolutely gorgeous and fuuahaauh ;w; I hope I don't sound annoying or anything, but I kind of want to work towards doing jobs like yours? I don't know if it makes sense ahaaaaha but I was wondering if there was any sort of advice or anything you can give me? >//3//

hello anon.
sorry for the fucking late answer…I was kind of away from tumblr (did not recall that I had a blog here haha)
so advices…well…
first, love to draw, I know it’s a bit cliché but when you do our kind of job you have to LOVE to draw because you will draw anything possible, from spaceship to trash can and box of cereals…really! so you have to find a balance in what you like/love to draw and what you HAVE to draw during the production of a video game/film/etc.

Second, be patient!
nothing comes easy, drawing too. you have to practice a lot, it’s a lot of frustration to take and to digest from. even I, now, i encounter a loooot of frustration sometimes it’s not because it’s your job since years than you are imune to the blank page syndrome or anything like that. so be patient. be aware that you can’t have good “drawing” days everyday and it will be okay.

third : draw from what you see, not from what you “think” you know.
still life is still the best way to practice your eye and you hand. it will force your brain to understand thing that you were not aware they existed before like tinking of an apple in a 3D space haha.

and fourth, maybe a good class of art.
dunno were you live but if you can’t afford and expensive school, try online. we have now a fucking huge amount of knowledge and teachers on the internet!

hope it can help you
